UK carrier Vodafone seem to have stopped selling the Nokia N97, only a couple of months after they started shipping the device.
The writing had always been on the cards, seeing as the N97 had to be given it’s own section in the Vodafone support forums. I’m guessing this was done to keep on top of all the user complaints, and to stop the N97 threads from over-running the Nokia section. Just taking one look in the N97 forum would fill any potential customer with fear, judging by the amount of people calling for the N97 to be recalled, or trying to send the device back.
It would seem that Vodafone have got a replacement device lined up though, and it’s none other than the N97′s younger, and more attractive sibling, yes the N97 Mini.
Vodafone have certainly given a massive vote of confidence in the N97 Mini, by discontinuing it’s larger counterpart so quickly.
Have you got an N97 on Vodafone? Are you trying to get rid of it too? Leave a comment and let us know.
