Update: nm, I found that I must use Messaging app for this.

Thanks for the great guide, I am able to setup email sync and the sync was successful, but where do I read the email? If I start Email application, it asks me to setup e-mail and clicking on "Start" brings up an error that says "Unable to connect to server. Try again later.". The only option is to press OK, so I am not clear on what server it is trying to connect.

Yes, that did it! Thanks very much. Is there anyway to disable mail syncing (I prefer to use gmail app for mail and only want the calendar sync)?
